After a lovely Easter in Vancouver, we took a 3-day trip up to Whistler. Lucky for us, spring had arrived. The snow was powdery and the warm weather suited our casual skiing outfits well – several people commented on our jeans which apparently stood out from the required dress code of brightly colored performance gear.

On our return drive to Vancouver, we stopped at several parks along the way. We found the nature immensely beautiful including the mountains, lakes, rivers and impressive waterfalls.

Our last stop was at an amazingly picturesque spot, Porteau Cove. We agreed that we will have to return and do some camping here one day. We even picked out our camp site.
