Yet another major milestone of the trip, Kristina turned 40 on our second day in Sydney. Please no jokes about mid-life crises or anything like that.
We had an amazing day exploring the city – a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, a delicious Italian dinner with a view of the harbor, and a play at the famous Sydney Opera House. Since she didn’t get to celebrate with friends and family this year, we thought it would be nice to share some pictures from the day instead.

The chandelier is a frozen snowball. Alex almost touched it before getting a friendly warning from a docent (just wanted to see if it was really ice)
A short walk from the harbor through The Rock to a hard to find cocktail bar

It was one pretty amazing cocktail
A birthday toast (it was a little bright)
The sunset over the Sydney harbor. Nice
